New mural in DeKalb County showcases variety by meals

A brand new Buford Freeway mural is aiming to encourage unity by meals and tradition.

A public artwork ordinance was handed within the metropolis. Artist Leah Abucayan labored with a small crew to create a mural at Pinetree Plaza on Buford Freeway.

Abucayan says the mural was considerably smaller than what it’s now, however the extra she painted, the extra impressed she turned.

Leaders say the picture celebrates the variety of the realm by a narrative of meals. There objective was to get folks to cease for picture ops, and go to the companies close by.
